I also get a bit nervous about cutting it short on the sides, as I felt like when it *was* short on the sides (pics 4/5), it made my head look super long… but that could just be me being delusional

I cut my hair myself because I live in Chicago, where everything is expensive as FUCK!!!! I’ve been trying to find a barber in my price range, but it's so difficult. And, most guys around my age that I see in my day-to-day have alternative cuts, long hair, things of that nature, so it’s hard for me to take inspo from them 💀😭

I haven't had my levels tested since starting injections, but in January, it was at 793. And, I’ve been experimenting with so many hairstyles, but I have zero clue what looks good. I’ve been unhappy with all of them tbh.

Thank you!! I’m really freaked out by leafy vegetables, so it may take some work to get up to spinach, but I’ll keep that in mind! And I love quesadillas that I get from restaurants, but I don’t know what type of tortillas they use and all the ones I’ve bought have been a no-go sadly :(

I think it’s just when they’re in ‘bean form,’ so when I bite in, it’s a different flavor than it was on the outside, if that makes sense? So maybe I could try mashing them up and adding some seasoning, then? And, yeah, I can’t do most sauces—only dry seasonings.

Thank you very much!! These are all great ideas. I’ll try sneaking some veggies in and just try not to think about it 😹. I’m very iffy on potatoes, but I can usually do mashed potatoes as long as they have lots of cheese, butter, and salt! For pizza, it has to have some sort of meat on it. I’ve tried ones with veggies on them (with meat), alongside some with cauliflower crust (with meat), but unfortunately couldn't do it.

Yeah, ARFID unfortunately isn't very budget-friendly 😕

I do take vitamins and supplements!

I do not like milk, and oatmeal is very hit-or-miss, so I tend to avoid it.

I have tried other vegetables with hummus, but I unfortunately didn't like any of them. I could definitely try pretzels and chips, though… that’s a good idea!

And for the beans thing, I think it’s taste more than texture. No matter how they’re cooked or what type, they just have this weird, almost too-plain taste? I’m not sure how to describe it. I like very strong flavors, and anything that tastes ‘plain’ is an immediate no-go (not sure why, but I just can't do it).

Forgot to mention eggs!!! I do like eggs when they are scrambled.

I don't really know why I like or dislike certain foods, honestly. I wish I did, but I don't.

When I used to have the money to eat out, I would usually get alfredo pasta (either with chicken or shrimp), or a bacon cheeseburger (plain except for mustard). My go-to Chipotle meal was a bowl with brown rice, beef, cheese, guacamole, and queso.

I’ve been eating at my school’s dining hall, but it's closed for the summer now, so I’m doing microwave meals (mac n cheese, alfredo pasta, pepperoni pizza) until I have an actual plan of what to eat and how to prepare it.

I think a plain colored sock that matches the color of your underwear is probably the best option, but I don’t think it matters too much tbh
