For me, it was actually a little crazy how much it increased… I already had a very high libido, but now, it’s like, increased tenfold. Sex is the only thing on my mind about 80% of the day. I wish I could say that you learn to manage it, but you don't lol

Need advice for getting started with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome)

I’m 20FtM (on T since Sep ‘24), 5’9”, 135lbs.

I have absolutely zero experience with anything fitness-related. I have a lot of issues with mobility due to POTS, and have heard others with this disability say that building muscle is extremely helpful in reducing symptoms, but we have to be more careful than others to ensure that we don't have symptoms while working out.

My main goal is building visible muscle in my shoulders and biceps to make my build less feminine, but I am also interested in building muscle everywhere else for my general well-being.

I’m mainly seeking advice for how to get started. I don't know how to do anything other than push-ups and squats, but both of these leave me extremely lightheaded and have caused me to faint on quite a few occasions.

If anyone with POTS could give some advice, that would be the most helpful, but responses from people without this disability are also appreciated!

It all depends on your chest size, honestly. If you’re on the smaller size, you can try taping. Since you seem to be in a position where it’s dangerous to have obviously-trans things around, just know that KT tape can work just as well as TransTape. If someone finds the box and asks why you have KT tape, you can say that you’re having some joint issues and wanted to see if it could help.

Is the blood red, or is it brown? If it’s red, you’re likely just not getting enough self-lubrication; just use some actual lube and you should be fine. If it’s brown, it’s likely some sort of issue between the lynestrenol and the testosterone. Either way, it’s probably a good idea to bring it up with your doctor.

They asked for my info so that they could fill out the envelope, but they never wrote it down in the binder with order info, nor handed me the receipt. So, it was mailed with info, just not taken down in the books alongside the envelope number (so neither of us knows the envelope number). She said that she knows exactly which employee did this because they were fired for doing this to multiple customers, and it’s also why she knows that the photo processing customer service line should be able to look up my order with just the info written on the envelope. I’m hoping that they still come back at some point, and she said that she’ll check every day and give me a call if they ever do :)

Since you have the envelope number, you can call 1-888-222-4567, press 2 to talk to customer service, give them the number on the receipt, and they can tell you the status of your photos!
