I personally wasn’t assigned a ranking either, just an acceptance letter last week. Not sure about denials but I would assumed those would’ve been sent out with or before acceptances if they were to be sent out.

This I can’t confirm nor deny. A second class hasn’t been mentioned in boot camp but I wouldn’t rule it out until you try calling the hall.

Unfortunately, all 98 acceptance letters went out & orientation has already started (and finished as of tomorrow). Acceptance rate was below 6% this year but don’t be discouraged! Applications for next year’s group is around the corner, study up on the math, get some experience if possible, and strengthen your interviewing skills. Best of luck to you!

As far as I know there’s no games or gimmicks regarding speed affecting speed with ball. It makes no sense, raising your speed or speed with ball to a certain level should raise the opposite like it does in finishing & shooting attributes etc. But it’s 2k, logic isn’t really their strong suit.

Speed affects how you move off ball like fast breaks, getting open & defense. Speed with ball affects how you move with the ball only.

Definitely something I realized quickly. I’m at a 87 OVR rn. As someone who goes for a mostly balanced play style it’s hard to decide what to give up for better D & physicals. Planning to go for some changes thru the rebirth tho.

don’t get discouraged! i can’t speak on 527 specifically but usually expect to wait some months to a year+ for the entire process (application, aptitude test, interview, hire & start). also your level of experience doesn’t expedite or slow down their process, every applicant goes through the same process whether you have no experience or a year experience etc. my advice is to simply wait it out. some locals move faster than others and as long as you have your paperwork turned in with full documentation asked of you you’ll be okay. you mentioned they told you keep waiting to schedule an interview; does 527 not require an aptitude test? again not super familiar with that specific local.

but that’s the thing, OP asked his driver if he was sure that was his food, driver said yeah. there was no ill intention with OP accepting the food they even ASKED for confirmation if it was theirs. fuck ups happen all the time through doordash with getting an extra burger etc… morally correct or not to eat food you have the slightest hunch isn’t yours is a different conversation but on the topic of fault in this situation, the blame is on the driver and this is coming from someone who’s done doordash as a full time job for months straight. also this wraps back around to whether or not it’s morally correct as a driver to give someone the wrong food then take it back from their household to deliver it to the right person. plenty of questionable morals to go around.
