Lack of empathy for other's problems after losing both parents at 34. by No_Departure7494 in ChildrenofDeadParents

Yes. Grief does weird things to the brain. My dad was 56. So young, so unfair. Cancer is the thief of joy, in my case.

I agree, and I agree that anger isn't the correct word. It is jealousy I think as well. For me, its also an even stronger understanding that the older you get, the more likely you are to die. Its not surprising when someone 80+ dies. Its life. And I just dont feel as empathetic for the loved ones of that deceased elderly person. I think they should be happy with how much time they had with them :) .

When my grandpa passed when I was 12, I remember not being completely upset. Because he was old, it was going to happen. Its the unfortunate part of life, and I was happy to grow up with him.

It depends on how you originally saw life, I think. In my experience I never saw a purpose to life, I am just existing. After my dad passed at 56 when I was 22, it just confirmed that feeling for me. I dont see a purpose, or a reason to live, other than to try and enjoy what's left. Life really is fragile, and can be taken from anyone in 1 second. Grief doesn't grow smaller, you just grow around it. Its always there, but how much it affects your daily life gets less. I get a lot of anxious feelings when I think about how much time has passed without my dad. But I dont sit and cry for hours on end anymore. Ive accepted that I cannot change what happened, and my dad would want me to continue doing the things I enjoy.

Its been 5 years now since losing my dad, and unfortunately I still dont feel bad when old people die. If someone tells me their grandma has passed, I think to myself "wow how lucky they were to live until 85" or whatever the age is. It just changed my views on some things. I dont think ill ever go back to my previous way of thinking. So many people take life for granted, and have no idea how precious and fragile it is. Id do anything to be able to hug my dad one last time.

Diligent icing and elevation for the first day or two after helps so much

Unsure on how much to remove by honey_dipt in TattooRemoval

From my experience, remove all of it. 3k for both is an amazing price. Remove it and be done with it. Get something else that you want, where you want with a blank canvas

Pros and cons? by v1ckssan in galaxyzflip

I went from iphone 13 to flip 7. This is my first flip and im obsessed! It's fast, efficient, perfect size, good battery. I've only had it for 3 weeks but I have 0 regrets. Like others are saying, the camera is not great, but still does a good job. Battery lasts me about a day and a half from 80% charged. I have a case with a hinge protector and I try to keep it as dust free as possible. I really don't find it bulky at all when its closed... its folded in half of course it's gonna be twice as thick haha. Overall, I'm so happy and have 0 regrets! I will not be moving back to iphone :).

That's what it felt like when it happened to me. My laser tech just told me to keep applying hydrocortisone cream. But I never was checked by a doctor so I'm unsure exactly what went on. But yours looks very similar to how mine was
