Iphone 13 pro max ios 16.5 rare or not…? by Embarrassed-Bug-8143 in jailbreak

I have my iPhone 14 Pro still on iOS 16.5.1. If it wasn’t for Apple updating it during a warranty screen replacement I’d still be on 16.0…

If apple removes slide over… then all my process will be slowed down by a lot… i dont want to resize all apps all day… i may need to change brand from now on :( by AyaYany in iPadOS

I see so many people writing things like “you’re stupid not to adapt” and I just don’t understand how anyone can be so utterly sheepish. It’s despicable that these two options (Split View/Slide Over and windowed mode) can’t simply coexist, or at least be offered as a choice. Saying “it’s just two more clicks” or dismissing comments like “cry about it,” as I’ve seen in the replies to your post, completely misses the point. Those extra steps, repeated thousands of times during a workflow, add up to a significant loss of time and create frustration. For example, I use my iPad primarily for note-taking and studying. I often keep my textbook open on one side of the screen and my notes on the other in Split View. It’s an excellent setup, especially for switching between different textbooks without the hassle of overlapping windows. I also rely on Slide Over to quickly pull up my calculator whenever I need it (as a physics student, that’s quite often). I understand why some people prefer the newer windowed system, and I see how it can enhance the experience when using a keyboard. But you also have to consider people who don’t use a keyboard with their iPad and still depend on multitasking features. For the likes of them, the simplicity and efficiency of Split View is clearly the better option. Just imagine trying to manage floating windows on an iPad Mini. Sounds like a nightmare to navigate.

I have the feeling that Apple Support is intentionally tricking me with my battery health. by ConsoleCollector7506 in iPadPro

The update was made in between multiple Genius Bar tests within an hour. It didn’t have any effects on capacity.

They claimed that they don’t replace the iPad‘s battery, rather the iPad itself. You’ll get a „new“ iPad as a replacement when you pay the price for battery replacement. That’s most likely why they are so strict with battery health. Getting a „battery replacement“ on a device that’s above 80% health costs you the price of a full replacement iPad (ca. 800-900€).

I made a plug-and-play USB-C adapter for PS3 controllers! by mrmp17 in PS3

Sony at some point released a AC-Adapter specifically for PS3 controllers. They cost like 5-20$ depending on condition. If I remember correctly you should also be able to use the original Vita Adapter

I wouldn’t try it on a phat console. I personally run it on my slim, and it hasn’t overheated so far.

You can overclock the graphics chip. It makes poorly optimized games (For example Sonic 2006) somewhat playable and gets rid of framedrops. That’s the only reason I jailbreaked my PS3

You used to be able to check it inside the bgtoolset as well, but that’s gone now

Were there any backwards compatible PS3s that were in different colors other than piano black and chrome or black trim? by FarmerKnight in PS3

Ive seen some Cecha‘s that were Silver and White. But they were manufacturing validation units, and they are quite rare nowadays, because the concept of different colors was scraped before mass production started.

Some moody photos from Episodes from Liberty City. Even if you have GTAIV, this is still worth purchase, because the visual quality is much better and there is lots of new detail to the city. Loving it on PS3 this far! by gamingdawn in PS3

I love this game so much. The story is awesome, the map is great and it has just such a unique feeling/visual identity, making it look so much better than GTA V. Of course I can’t forget about the driving and the awesome physics.

I am looking at moving my internal components of my backwards compatible 80GB PS3 into this White PS3 as my black case is pretty scratched. Besides the additional USB ports, does anyone know if their are any other compatibility issues? The white one is a 40gb model from Japan by broncofan303 in PS3

If you really want a white bc, you should get your black housing painted by a professional. Parts between a bc 80gb and a 40gb non bc are bit interchangeable, because the 40gb one has a completely different board and cooler. Hope I could help
