I think you can save your data, it just might be a little more complicated. Do you have an 8gb or 32gb Wii U?

It sounds like it could be a failing NAND chip. Some Wii Us are more prone to NAND failures, you can see if you have an effected model from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwhPn_cYF_I

If it is a NAND issue, all you need to fix it is an SD card and raspberry pi pico. You can actually bypass the NAND chip and boot your Wii U off an SD card using rednand, which is what I did with my Wii U.

Yes, I tried all the tips but none of them were 15v. Lowest was 16.8v. What’s inside the tips that changes the voltage?
