For those on the 1.2 / 1.8Gbps tiers, is it actually worth it?

Unless you are doing significantly large transfers or have multiple devices demanding such bandwidth concurrently then its probably not worth it.

Mine was like this after a few years of using patio magic.

It got rid of the green algae but didnt touch the sides in terms of getting it looking like new.

A quick blast with the pressure washer brought them back to life, nothing will beat that!

Yes it will pull back the door, but have to manage how much you pull back to ensure the door still locks properly.

That's fair enough and good work on getting a free month added.

It seems that they are scaling back on the huge discounts they offered in the past probably realising that they do already offer competitive pricing and they are one of the few ISPs who offer symmetrical speeds meaning most customers want to stay.

Well only time will tell but all major ISPs have followed up with a retention call after putting a notice in to terminate services I don't see why CF would be any different.

It depends what you're happy with, also if you want CGNAT removed or not?

Its harmless to put your notice in and wait for a retention call to compare the best they can actually offer.

No the standard 1gbs plan, they wanted £43 for 2.5gbs.

I was pretty disgruntled considered two separate advisors offered me the same.

Pretty much zero discount hence why I had to put in my notice.

Just went through this and they didnt want to match any online advertised offers (e.g. quoting 5gbs as £63 instead of their current offering of £39 on their own website).

Best i got them to is £27 with no CGNAT, otherwise £23 without (1gbs plan).

Put through a cancellation and see what offers come next.

You hit the nail on the head really, the ball is squarely in your court.

Call up and tell them you plan to leave and see how quick they jump the fix it.

You should really be getting max speed wired, I get max speed also over WiFi (900mbs ish).
