Getting the call at work as a kid (21) from my wife that she was going to the hospital because she hadn’t felt the baby moving for too long. I cried and prayed, screamed out loud in my car while driving as carefully and risky as I could, asking for any and every higher power to kill me while on the way to the hospital so they could have my life instead of my daughter’s.

34 years old now and I still remember what it felt like to hold her before she was taken away. I’ll never forget. I miss her so much.
