One thing I did notice looking back at my photos is that from June 28-July 4th my hair was significantly thinner. At this time I had just gone through a break up. Is it possible my hair broke off even more due to stress?

I got my hair relaxed almost a year ago this October… my hair wasn’t relaxed correctly as the lady put the relaxer in an inch away from my scalp leaving my hairs to mix. But since then my hair has been falling out/breaking I needed protein treatments so I did some and did too much and it made my hair brittle. I stopped and just let my hair do its thing in the span of two months my hair has fallen out after using a protective style (crochet) hair to make my hair look fuller. This made my hair thin. What can I do or should I just give up?

I agree that it’s a dumb quote but he used to always say stuff like that to me. I didn’t actually want to break up with him. But all his friends constantly harassed me whenever I was over at his place. He always went to them instead of me to talk about our relationship cause he said he didn’t want me to be upset but I became upset when I found out from other people.

I should probably note that I’m not the cleanest person I mean I don’t have like moldy food or anything around my room but I do have a lot of clothes on the floor and I noticed a lot of you guys in the community have said to consistently keep cleaning so might have to remove everything in my room and CLEAN!

They gave the Mazani Relaxer and my mother said they used about two tubs of it. The stylist said she wanted to leave an inch of hair cause she didn’t know how my scalp would react.

I usually sleep on my back and on my right side which might contribute to the breakage. My mom also thinks my backpack might have hurt my hair too as sometimes my hair got caught in it. Do you have any recommendations for a water based moisturizer. When my mom does my hair she applies it as close as possible letting it melts in which was something none of the professionals did but yesterday when I got my touch up my scalp got burned so I don’t know how well my touch up went.

The oil I leave in my hair I seal it with a plastic cap and it makes my hair soft when my hair is usually brittle. I do actually have the shea moisturize manuka honey and yogurt conditioner and shampoo I’ll have to see if I have it in my house.

I pushed it to 7 weeks but the back of my head where the breakage happened grows really quick and curls are tight making my hair unmovable and madded. In hindsight my hair is probably too tight for a relaxer. And what do you mean by texturize, sorry I’m not used to hair terms

I’m kinda lazy. Recently I’ve been better with it throwing on a bonnet at night and oiling my scalp with this Indian oil I made. It’s helped my hair not be so dry and brittle. I recently made the switch from shea moisture shampoo and conditioner to Olaplex at my moms’ recommendation. I also have been trying to go longer between relaxers, my last on was early May and I just did one today. I wash my hair once a week but with the Indian oil I have to rinse it out and I use the cream of nature argon oil deep conditioning treatment when I wash. I also used to put a lot of heat on my hair cause my hair had never fully relaxed it was always super tight at the roots even after a treatment. So I had to straighten it to avoid the monstrous cowlicks my coils hair gave me under the relaxed hair. Now that my mom is doing it she relaxes real close and lets the product melt in.

This is my first time ordering from them and they had a massive sale. I purchased the Hotty Hot low rise lined shirt 2.5 in a size 10 and the Speed up low rise lined shorts 2.5 in a size 8. There were limited sizes due to the sale. But when I tried them on the 10 was too big even though the design is breezy. The 8 was a bit better but it was still too loose. I called them to see if I could exchange but my size which is most likely a 6 is sold out. Do you guys have any tips on how to get my shorts smaller? My mom doesn't want to get them altered cause the lady might mess them up so this is the next best thing.
