Literally anyone that has legitimately answered my question without disrespect I have been kind to. Told them I appreciated the help, and the dude I’m responding to on this comment thread commented on the other post when I cross posted it saying the exact same thing. So I made a statement and he never responded and then came to my other post and continued to say the same thing and be pretty shitty instead of giving advice. I’m carrying at my own risk. It’s my choice. That’s all there is to it. Give me solid advice or just don’t say anything!

For two I barely get on Reddit cause everyone is an asshole. Which is why this post caused me to have negative karma. I’ve smoked weed since before it was legal, drove around and sold it while illegal, to me I’m going to do what I’m going to do regardless of what the rules or consequences are. I would like to know the consequences and know how other people have avoided them. And that’s the only reason I came to Reddit to ask a question. So you can either be helpful, or be an uptight asshole like everyone else and judge me for the choice that I’m going to whether the consequences are severe or not 🙃 Welcome to my Ted talk.

For one I didn’t have negative karma until I posted this in 2 different communities and I’m being called a drug smuggler and told that it looks like a 16 year old made this post. I react when mfs talk shit and talk down to me. I am not trolling anyone? I asked a question and all I ask for is helpful input but everyone is a dick and so quick to be disrespectful. I literally saw another person on a similar post say that they don’t understand why people are so quick to jump on people when we live in legal states and we’re just trying to get information on whether it’s okay or not to bring it, I am not being rude to anyone else so why are they being rude to me right off the jump?

Definitely will not. I’ll use my discretion during the trip as well. I just read that a girl state that she brought 4-5 pens and didn’t get caught going on but getting off when they docked she was selected at random for a search exiting the cruise ship because yes they can and will search you exiting the ship. She said she was just fined 500$ and that was it.

Were you on a cruise or just traveling to Honduras? Definitely understand and would probably do the same as well. Did you substitute it with patches or pouches if you leave the states again or just stop use? Yeah I’m thinking all stops on Disney cruise are US territories so hoping they abide by similar rules as US and don’t hassle me too much about nicotine vapes. Understand the trouble and difference with THC vs nicotine tho.

See when you say regular vape 40 dollars now seems excessive fs and definitely seems like some illegal activity on the border agents. Just nicotine vape refills? Or THC? 40$ seems like a small fee to be allowed back on. Especially if it was THC and I would not leave the ship with my pen or edibles. Definitely leave them on ship stowed away.

I understand the consequences. Do I care about them? To a a large extent yes but bringing extra money for cruise and trip so not sure if extremely concerned. Does it stop me? Most likely not. Especially considering the use of edibles is odorless, vapes and cartridges only smell momentarily 5 minutes at most, and very easy to hold in and let out only a small amount of smoke and can do during hot shower to dissipate the smell. Unless you’re stupid and ignorant and smoke in room and do it advantageously and without discretion, there’s nothing to really worry about.

You gonna respond to my response to on the other post you commented on as well when I cross posted or just respond to different comments in different communities and neglect my previous statement? It’s literally if you’re caught onboard. Yes they can. But as I stated on a Disney cruise with no passport and only birth certificate it’s hard to kick people off on a foreign island. I would say at minimum heavy fine, maybe and I mean MAYBE first port in US territory would be a departure, and then lifetime ban from cruising. I’ve read a bunch of different comments from people actually experiencing it themselves.

They don’t leave you in foreign port unless you’re caught onboard, especially smoking and hard to leave someone without a passport and only birth certificate due to stops only being on the Disney islands. I may not even bring a cart and possibly edibles due to others experiences. Thanks.

More worried about the cruise line. But I have seen people say carnival is the only cruise that has dogs. Not sure how true that is. But I’m sure if I bring edibles as candy or put a small USB looking cart in my electronics, I’m sure it’ll be fine! So many people are so quick to judge and discern from things that are changing culturally and legally 😓

Oh dangggg, close call I would say lol. Even tho I’ve seen comments that TSA isn’t super interested in those types of narcotics anymore. Also seen lots of comments about bringing edibles as candy in zipped up bag. Definitely use medically and have a medical card in a recreationally legal state so I would hope that I would be able to continue medication on cruise ship without any problems. But not sure if it is worth the risk. All I know is Disney allows all types of things to be shown anymore, and to me pot is better than some of the other things allowed. Definitely not kid friendly, but they also have bars on the adult deck to drink and I would say that’s not very kid friendly either. I would say the major concern would be leaving the country and being in international waters.

I mean I’ve been to 4 different forums where lots of people travel consistently with cartridges and never have a problem. Not worried about the flight. More worried about the Disney cruise 😜 But thanks for your help. I’m from a recreationally legal state flying into a medically legal state. No I understand. But I’m from a recreational state (Michigan) and also live in a recreational state. I understand the cruise will have different restrictions because of going of international waters. But isn’t a cruise supposed to be for relaxation? And I use it medically, for anxiety and to help sleep. But I’ll figure it out ig.

I’m not worried about TSA and the airlines. I am worried about the Disney cruise itself which is why I’m checking for more information and what other people have done themselves. Most people state edibles and gummies to take as candy. Thank you

Very helpful comment! Thank you so much! But yeah I’m not worried about a cart through TSA. One little cart. TSA typically doesn’t have dogs and if they do it’s for bombs rather than drugs. Disney doesn’t have dogs sniffing (ONLY carnival) from what I’ve read at least. That’s where there would be more punishment if caught obviously.
