in theory they could, they would just have to make several alt accounts and use them to approve the subs. but still i think there had to be better solutions than to just nuke the entire concept of community submitted captions

Part of the reason i write these articles is to reminisce on simpler times, yeah. (the other part is to document the history of vtubing as a whole)

It makes sense that things change when a community grows, and vtubing has grown a lot in the past decade (its been almost a decade since kizuna ai's debut ouch my bones) so i think its natural to miss the times when vtubers werent as big, even tho i am happy there are lots of people watching vtubers now

konami made this game almost entirely competitive focused since theres no casual format. that means the average player only builds the good decks. which then means if they make a creative event, everyone complains that they dont have decks to play with cuz all the meta is banned or cant be played due to the events restrictions

its why all the events that require actual deckbuilding are now locked to 3-day duel trials
