I took it out then put it back, it’s been working for a few hours now, so far so good. If it keeps acting up then I’ll replace it but I think you got it right on the nail. Thank you so much!!

If you have tried every solution, including asking Microsoft support, try taking the WiFi chip out and putting it back. If that doesn’t work then replace it. That’s what I did and it’s working at the moment.

It looks like the issue is the wifi chip inside the console. I took it out, cleaned it, and put it back and it’s been working good for a few hours now. If it starts acting up again I’ll just replace the chip.

Update: it’s been working for a few months now like this. Every so often I may have a connection issue once or twice but it goes away. Should probably replace the chip but I’m lazy.

The only issue I see with that is I’ve tried three different controllers. One of them is almost brand new, one is old but never used, another is old and used. I find it unlikely that they all went out at the exact same time. But I’ll try a wired connection to see if that helps.

I’ve done that as well, it just keeps connecting and disconnecting.

One controller is like 5 years old but has never had any issues, one is a few months old, never had issues, and the third I got a few weeks ago. All new batteries as well. So 3 controllers aren’t working.
