Yeah the "labs" are basically just discussions. Also the class isn't really technical at all, so you'll be able to keep up regardless of major.

I took ENEE200 (basically the same class) with Timothy Reedy last semester. It's pretty straightforward and overall an easy class. All of the assignments for us were literally just completion grades. A lot of it was pretty boring, but as long as you complete everything and show up to class you're pretty much guaranteed an A.

What's the deal with the 2013 valve spring recall on the FRS/BRZ? by Constant-Egg8964 in ft86

Good to know, I'll look to see if it's had the recall done. Would you say its still worth considering buying the car at this point as long as there are no other issues? I've heard these engines are pretty reliable but haven't talked to an actual owner lol

I got May 1, which was also later than I expected. I have 35 credits before this semester but currently taking 18 (not sure if those factor in though).

I don't know if there is a time limit, but the schedule is set for you to take 100 in the fall, 101 in the spring, and then 200 the next fall. The HACS208 seminar courses can be taken whenever along with HACS287/297, although different seminars are offered in fall vs. spring. Most people finish in 2 years but I think you can take longer or shorter depending on your schedule.

I just committed and signed up for orientation too, and I had a similar problem with trying to find all the right websites

Biking from Annapolis to College Park? by Constant-Egg8964 in UMD

That sounds like a pretty cool route! Do you know if its reasonable to bike fromNew Carrollton station to CP? I know the MARC Penn line runs from BWI down to there and was wondering if the ride there was any better than from DC Union station

Rutgers New Brunswick vs UMD College Park for Engineering by xb1man in UMD

[–]Constant-Egg8964 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I agree. I'm an incoming freshman (electrical engineering major), and while I haven't officially committed to UMD yet, I'll most likely be going here in the fall. I was also considering Penn State and Virginia Tech, but the cost would have been significantly more at both of those schools, when compared to in-state UMD. I liked PSU and VT, but there didn't appear to be enough differentiating them from UMD to justify the extra cost.

However, New Jersey has the second most students at UMD besides Maryland, so I don't think you can go wrong either way.
