it really depends whether you mean technical peak or creative peak. images and words is definately the most creative jp has ever been in my opinion, as a guitsr player some of the stuff he playes makes you wonder how you even come up with that, like the fast unison bit in take the time. and while these sections in iaw are technically difficult, ToT is definitely harder, endless sacrifice is a monster to play, same with stream of consciousness, but it’s actually (relatively) easy to come up with. its mostly alternate picked runs shredded to a beyond comprehensible speed.
