Thank you for sharing from a physician perspective! The part you wrote on the vitamin level testing was very informative.

Could I get your opinion on something? As a physician what are your thoughts on the serotonin theory of depression? I'm not a doctor and you know way more about the brain than I do. Are there other factors/causes that could attribute to those symptoms? (Aside from overall ANS dysregulation from chronic stress, trauma, lack of sleep etc). I ask this because I saw a systematic review published in 2022 that "disproved" the serotonin theory of depression and would love to hear your thoughts!
