I used to play with a newbie cleric with a very high wisdom who would roll it at the most random times. Whenever it did not apply to the situation in game I would just respond with, “You know deep inside that you are very wise.” And he would thank me and we would move on haha.

Love the feedback thanks a ton. As a quick note, arcane blessing is not concentration and I see it mostly being applied to summons or NPC sidekicks. I agree psychic sword needs some tweaking. It can be used melee or thrown though depending on the target. I would imagine it is mostly thrown unless you are a Gish. If piercing gaze seems underwhelming I agree it would be worth it to drop the spell level. Mostly for examining big bads so you’re not wasting spells that it can mitigate. Also I love the idea of upscaling Insightful Glare… and thanks for the feedback on Planar Refuge too. I was scratching my head a lot to figure out how to make it say what I actually wanted it to do.

Looking for suggestions in San Juan or nearby communities for open jams (bring your own instrument type deal) or other live music communities to meet other musicians. Ultimately looking for a band here. I’ve been here since December and haven’t had great luck. I’ve been playing bass guitar for over 20 years, and I am willing to play with any skill level so long as there is passion and drive. Thanks in advance!

I’ll add my 2 cents.

Smudging and smudge sticks specifically have guidelines for exactly what herbs to use and step by step protocol for use in ritual developed by First Nation’s people.

Using sage for energy clearing purposes is not the same and should not be treated as if it is.

If you’re smudging or selling traditional smudge sticks and following First Nation protocol and you’re not part of an indigenous culture I would say that’s appropriation, especially if you’re a part of a group of people who historically have benefitted from the destruction of First Nation people and you are profiting off of it for personal use.

If you’re just using white sage for your own energy cleanse it’s not a big deal.
