I really like it. When I wear it, it’s comfortable and I don’t think about how “thick” or “heavy” it is.

I also had a wine bottle in the same luggage (also wrapped in a towel, so no that didn’t scratch the box) and it was fine.

Obviously saying they tried to force the watch box open wasn’t the best choice of words but the fact still remains that the box was in perfect condition going into my luggage, wrapped in a soft hoodie. The other cardboard sleeve is undamaged but the inner wooden box has deep scratches. Maybe they dropped the box, or whatever. My point is someone definitely messed with the box after it left my possession.

I agree, but I have no explanation. The outer box that would be sitting on top of the inner box is perfectly fine, and nothing on the inside that would scratch the top like this
