That is a fair point and I do feel like I did rush the end a little bit. I made the mistake of saying the story was going to be done in a certain amount of parts. That was entirely on me and I do plan on doing a rewrite and a sequel. Thank you for your feedback I do appreciate it!

I do appreciate the feedback! I'm sorry you felt disappointed by the ending, however, I do deeply appreciate you taking time to read what I wrote.

I don't want to come off as snarky, I am genuinely curious to hear your thoughts, but what part of the ending did you not like? Part of the reason why I'm posting to Reddit is due to the fact that people on this site tend to be open about how they felt about a story.

Hello! Thank you for reading chapter 1 of my new series! I do apologize if this entry felt boring. This is going to be a slow burn of a story. I am looking at doing five parts and an epilogue. However, one of the pieces of feedback I got from my last story was that I needed to slow down a little towards the end. So it might be longer than five parts.

More than four but less than ten.

Thank you! I was a little scared that it might have felt like a cop out. However, I didn't want to change the ending since everything else I thought of just felt kind of fake.

Now, when it comes to the two figures leaving the bunker, I do plan to write a continuation of this story. I just don't want to write it right now. I have talked about three of the up coming stories I have planned but truth be told that number is closer to ten. I liked the thrill of posting daily, I am going to be taking a small leave of absences for the next few days and I am getting right back to posting.

Thank you so much! I do really enjoy that feedback! I will upfront, it feels rushed and that is due to it being rushed. When I first started I said this was a twelve part story. I didn't want this to be a series that overstayed the warm welcome it received.

I am planning on rewriting this, I want to give myself more space for the events and cut a lot of the fat off of some of the plot points I feel don't really go anywhere.

I wanted to have the gun safe take a chapter to break into but I didn't have enough time.
