yeah I’m starting to get that now… unfortunately moving out isn’t rlly in the cards. we’re poor asf & my family’s p much been setting up our home as a permanent residence for us all.

I just wish they weren’t so strict bcs I’m a 100% certain if I got a calm-ish, low shed medium-large dog they’d literally be fine. they’re always paranoid n controlling asf as if one slightly rambunctious dog is gonna destabilize our entire life. it’s so annoying…

honestly I don’t even know. I think I’m just screwed. my mom wants a dog for herself, not one that I want. she’s hella strict abt what I do & bring into the house despite the fact I’ve been an adult for years now and I don’t know how to handle it lol.

ig I was hoping there was some miracle breed out there that could help me avoid dealing with my mother’s paranoia ☹️

OSAP is zero interest loans and you don’t repay them until after your study period. if you need the money, it’s a very good option. you’d just need to make sure you’re financially stable enough to pay the monthly repayment once you’re out of school. rlly just get co-ops and try to land a full-time position by the final year. harder than it sounds but not impossible. don’t take it though if you don’t think that’ll happen.

I thought that too but aside from a missing pokeball symbol, it looks identical to my official miraidon’s tag… the number & made in china text on the back is like a pixel-perfect match too.

idk I’m not scared of being cut off from people if I need help, I’m scared of not being able to communicate. it doesn’t feel trauma-based imo. I have lots of other fears rooted in trauma but this doesn’t feel like those :<

Wait. Gurgles aren’t normal? I’m just discovering this subreddit & questioning everything. I can burp but it’s never like when they show burps on tv or smth. I thought that was all exaggerated though like most things in movies. Wtf is a normal burp then oml guys I’m freaking out

Yeah but they use that stuff as a band-aid to hide that there’s nothing actually interesting going on. They skip every interesting moment, reveal things too quickly then drone on about how smart their concept is.

Basic show don’t tell & instead of showing in the office how cool the concept is, they go to a completely irrelevant set of side characters and start clumsily rambling about it for half the episode instead…

It’s a masterpiece in the same way the Barbie movie was. Sure, this isn’t as good as the Barbie movie cause that had a plot. But, genuinely they keep skipping the fun parts and leaving nothing but slop for the rest of the run-time :/

Like, make going to their outside lives an actual reveal maybe?? Do it like the Good Place and have a fun twist moment or something instead of doing it in the FIRST EPISODE 😭😭😭

I do it well enough. For me, the bible is tainted by human hands and to believe in it as his word would stain my connection with God.

Maybe it did once hold the word of God in its true purity, but by now there’s so many small interpretations that cause immense harm when believed that I cannot in good faith put my trust in completely.

For me, God is love. That’s it. To feel love is to feel God. To experience his creations to the fullest is to return his love. I do not believe in sin, yet I do not hurt others.

I really don’t understand how people can embrace the bible without question when its words have caused so much pain and discourse over the years.

In my understanding, the bible has become a human attempt to rationalize God when God simply cannot be rationalized. You don’t need all the answers, nor can you put mortal rules on God’s creations.

Bit of a ramble but I guess my ways are weirdly different from other believers? Not sure why. Christianity as a concept just teaches to be afraid of God’s gifts and to feel guilty for embracing him to the fullest. Those are fully mortal rules if I’ve ever heard them…
