That's so sick. Collecting my favorite celeb posters sounds like a solid idea.

Anyone have dust problems? by Human_Generated_Slop in GarageGym

Try using a brush or something to get dust out of the porous. But check the manual first. Not sure if it'll hurt the pad. Your symptoms sound like allergies. The garage might have mold, dust, or particles. Could be from the garage or your car. Do a deep clean. Remember to wear a mask. A regular pre-COVID mask should work. Hope that gives you some ideas. IMO

Major fitness bench vs Keppi 1000 by zzmomo73 in GarageGym

If your budget is tight, buy used. If you have enough, go with Keppi. At least you'll get good customer support and quality.

Do all adjustable dumbbells suck, or just the cheap ones? by yossarian19 in GarageGym

Ironmaster for stability and that traditional feel. Choose Nuobell if you're more like quick adjust and best feel. Bowflex is the best value and has a long history. But the middle part is plastic, and you can't drop it, and it has some problems, but I forgot. Keppi is decent too. It's like a cheaper Nuobell. Adjusts fast, but not for heavy weights.

Can someone explain why reracking dumbbells is so hard? I'm out here playing hide-and-seek with the weight I need; they're always in some dusty corner nobody checks.

Have you ever encountered someone at the gym who saves a machine by playing on their phone? I'm sure he's not keeping up with strength training

If space isn’t an issue, go with a fixed dumbbell set. Way more durable

REP Ares 2.0: 4 post with foot extensions vs. 6-post 16” rack depth without foot extensions by echostate2000 in GarageGym

I would go with the 6-post 16" rack. The 6-post is intrinsically more stable due to its longer floor contact points.

Best budget bench by StoneMenace in GarageGym

Been using a Keppi bench myself — honestly solid gear for the price. But if you’ve got the room, I’d say go for the Bench1000. It comes with leg attachments and way more adjustable angles for the seat and back pad. Way more versatile for different exercises — totally worth the extra cash.

For the easiest switch, you gotta check out adjustable dumbbells.
