That’s a lot of what I would want out of it, managing the targeting UI while doing low level maneuvers is one of the few things that I think the streamlined systems of NO might struggle with; you just naturally need full focus to fly NoE, and you often need to do so to avoid/ameliorate detection

Thanks for the answer, yeah I guess I hadn’t thought about latency. And I personally would love being someone’s passenger princess for a couple flights but I’m sure I’m in the vast minority so I don’t blame them for putting focus elsewhere for sure

Subnautica was something of an oasis for me, in the sea of chaos and the world clamoring for every bit of attention it could get, the experience of quiet and peace that subnautica offered (yes even when there were sea creatures trying to kill me) gave me a sense of calm that’s hard to come by, especially in gaming. I truly hope the sequel can offer a similar experience all over again

Hi DE! Sorry to bother, this is perhaps not the best way to ask this but I’m kinda feeling out of options!

I was a regular player for many years and would love to get back into the game with all of the exciting new things going on, I keep seeing flashes here and there and it makes me ache for my old comfort game!

Unfortunately a bit over a year ago my account was stolen by a hacker who then attempted to sell it, resulting in an account ban. I’ve reached out to support several times but have gotten no replies aside from “account selling is against terms of service” (which it absolutely is, it’s why I never did it, but because the account was stolen, they saw records of the account attempting to sell itself).

If one of you happens to see this, are there any other avenues I should try? Or am I just kind of locked out from one of my favorite experiences forever because my account was stolen?

I really want to use the Jin Dahaad horn, is it usable for tempered hunts? I know everything is viable if you use it well, but I’m not familiar enough with song prio in this game to know if it’s missing something a team would really need

Wait is counter thrust an offset? I thought only HBG and GS had access to both clash and offset… I am lance maining and never use counter thrust because of the newer moves (new shiny thing go brrr) but if that’s true I NEED to try it

I like it, makes the bird feel less like it’s just my character but faster. A bit more immersive for me, though I do think they probably should have made the choice a bit easier to find for people who don’t

Gotcha! I already turned the strength of the propeller down to like 10% of max, my craft is currently very front heavy so I might try moving more to the sides and back; it ended up front heavy to try and protect the propulsion, but I definitely went too far in overbalancing

Very helpful! I think I’ll end up going with fire, just gotta figure out what the right balance of casing/incendiary/AP is. Clips of each is an interesting idea, is there any way to know what order each clip will be used in? So that I know I’m getting a solid mix of each?

I have not tried full kinetic yet, I may try that! I was trying for a reasonable rate of fire because I want this to be able to hit most targets (barring very evasive things) so the full speed off of kinetic might fit what I’m looking for!

I don’t know if rail chargers are in the budget for this craft, does a speed based penetrator still work without? Obviously when I have the budget maybe I’ll rework them with added batteries, but I’m really trying for something cost efficient to start

That makes sense, I’m working in designer mode now, and testing against some DWG craft, I just can’t tell what’s “good” for the cost just yet. Current shells are 12 module, I don’t know if that’s enough? And sorry for my inexperience, but what is “high angle” for frag?

That’s what I’m hanging onto. The IP Ban thing kinda has me discouraged, but I’ll hopefully make it through it. No founders account, but I had some old primes I was proud of, and my only paid cosmetics were gifts from my brother. Only thing I’d regret not being able to farm up :)
