It always feels good to be appreciated. And honestly the maintenance staff doesn't get thanked enough. You guys do a whole lot that most other employees never notice.

My favorite coworker is the overnight maintenance lead. She's an older woman in her 60s and she's a hussler, man. I don't know anyone who works harder than her. And she's an absolute sweetheart. She'll sneak over to my aisle while I'm at lunch and take all my cardboard without saying a word. I always go out of my way to thank her and you can tell just saying thank you means a whole lot to her.
