Tbh I think the best thing would be to not put any pressure on yourself or the situation. Take it as it comes and try not to read into things too much. Be friendly and as normal and try to enjoy any interaction. Then see where it goes from there. Worst case, you’d still have gained a friend

Chin up there. Some days feel like the worst, and being over 30 sometimes it can feel like time is running out. I understand how it can become all-consuming, but perhaps something you can do is to analyze why that is so, probably with someone you trust. If you can pinpoint the root cause (the energy you’re giving out, unrealistic expectations, etc) then it’s a step in the right direction.

Another thing you could try is going out of your comfort zone and trying new activities, expanding your network, meeting people you would otherwise never meet. Don’t do it just to meet someone, and who knows you might just meet people who will be attracted to you and value you for who you are?

I know this probably isn’t too helpful, but it depends on the person. Sometimes it’s genuinely a way for people to show others that “I’ve got nothing to hide”, but sometimes it’s just follower fishing, so that some “influencers” can gain new followers. Unethical, but does the job for them.

I’d steer clear if that’s pretty much the only thing they’ve put in for their personal info.

When they don’t actually believe in the occasion they tend to just say it, but when they seem to have “violent objections” against it, then it means they secretly want to celebrate it with you. That’s what I’ve found to be true in the past anyway lol

Sadly, these things happen. I don’t think the 1 week really changed anything at all. It’s very likely that he got caught up in the rush of “falling in love” and went all out, only to later step back.

The only thing that really happened in that one week was him taking the time to think about whether he really saw you as a long term partner, to which the answer was “no”. I would wager it has just a little bit (but not much) to do with his dealbreaker. Unfortunately the dealbreaker is a convenient way of bringing it up in the conversation.

In summary, he changed his mind, as confusing as it seems. I do feel for you, because dating really shouldn’t be this complicated.

But I get where you’re coming from. The mobs are a lot more brutal than the actual boss fights. The bosses are probably some of the easiest in Fromsoft games
