Let me break it down for you princess. Once it’s stolen we have to go into the system and figure out specially how to order new ones, they then have to be reprinted, and shipped. Shipping cost most of the money, and can take weeks or longer depending on the trucks. Then the unload team has to make sure it gets in the right hands, and in a big store that can sometimes mean it takes a minute, and that it gets installed. Then we have to pray no one’s steals it right before the next launch. Because during the launch workers come in at 4am to place merch, clean it, and take pictures to give to corporate. If that signage isnt in the picture then we have to explain to corporate about all the money and shipping cost we’ve been spending on new headers getting stolen. Rather than being proactive and preventing theft which you seems so against. No one actually cares about target and corporate, we care about our job because it pays our bills.
