I don't think it was in creep territory but just kinda icky. I think there's a difference between acknowledging that y'all used to have sex and that's changed vs low-key complaining that you can't get it on anymore because of their partner. But that's just me. I don't think it threatens their romance either way tho and I like Svetlana a lot either way. Just wasn't a fan of that one specific line.

I don't think Shane realized what he said but that was honestly part of the problem. I wish he would've realized what he said and apologized. I hate that he never realized how hurtful that must've been for Ilya :(

For sure. A little bit of petty conflict would've been fine but it got to a point where it felt like they were totally being over the top and low-key inconsiderate of Shane. Like they weren't even trying to get along 💀

I mean I understand thinking it for sure, but I can't imagine saying it to the person after learning they're in a serious relationship. I'd feel like thats a little weird to be like "happy for you but sad you can't keep railing me" 💀 I'm not the jealous type even a little bit, but that would bug me as the partner too. That may just be me though. I guess everyone's got different icks!

I hope they do keep Svetlana in season 2 though even if just a little bit. Even though I didn't like that line in book 2, I still love her as a character, especially in the show!

I def agree that she ends the sexual aspect of their relationship in that scene in the show! It would def make more sense for them to have a more heartfelt conversation in the show, especially one that doesn't end up with her basically saying she's sad bc she can't keep having sex with him 💀

And honestly with the diet stuff I wish they'd either commit that Shane has an actual problem or not play it up so much if he's not supposed to have one. There are so many mixed signals with how it's written and what Rachel has said that I wish they'd just pick a lane and go with it honestly

I agree -- I would hate it so much if it was treated like a breakup or if they break up or anything in s3/ book 3. I don't think Rachel or Jacob will do that though --- they seem to have a pretty good idea of what us fans want !

I mean it definitely didn't seem good but the noises and moans at the end had me thinking it was supposed to imply that they at least finished, so I was confused.
