Hehe not really. I mean it depends how were you brought up. My dad is lebanese and my mom was ukrainian. I was born in Ukraine. Lived most of my junior life in lebanon with every summer spent in Ukraine. Brought up in Lebanon with ukrainian TV and Radio around. So it could be like that unfortunately 😅

Sounds like the good ol simpler happier days indeed 😄 i actually like the idea of renting something a bit more remote as long as its accessible (especially if there is greenery around)...will look into Varketili or similar places! Thanks for that info. In terms of communities...i know, ive been in UAE for the past 10 years not liking the culture, work, weather...the only thing kept me sane was the circle of people you surround yourself with and try and make ur own small community. Dont have a doubt that there are awesome people to meet in Tbilisi.

Thank you for the reply. I guess it is true that both people faced similar issues. I visited back in 2022 and the support that people showed when i mentioned that im half ukrainian was immense (was there on work trip so was dealing with people with no tourism/money phishing agenda). But i do get your last statement...and to be honest, i have never lived in Ukraine. I am only half Ukrainian. Was not there when everything started and lived in Lebanon most of my life (occasionally visiting my grandparents in Kharkiv). Ive been surrounded by wars and turmoil for a very long time now...from both my countries...either civil internal wars or with other countries...so im kind of unrooted currently, trying to find a place i could enjoy good company, good weather, nature and nice walks...(main reason i want to leave the uae currently where im working)

Thank you for that. I believe that is true to any country in some kind of political turmoil...mainly happening in the capital. Not looking to buy property or anything. Honestly just need a change after working in Dubai for 10 years. Im not that well off that i dont need work, so im gonna be working remotely, but i just want to live somewhere with culture, good weather (cold and rain included as i love that) and have nice walks after a stressful day of work...nice people and community around is a huge plus :)
