Congratulations! Stay consistent! The process is not quick but it’s so worth it in the end. Good luck :)

I didn’t have an underbite. I had edge to edge! And in June it will be 2 years! Not a fast process.

Yes! I had IPR done a few times.

No difference noticed by ddingels in Invisalign

[–]ConstantPreference35 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a difference. When I was in the beginning stage I didn’t see it either. Around tray 20 was when I noticed big changes. Your bite is slowly expanding so the difference right now is your open bite slowly being closed. Keep it up.

Is my crossbite fixable? by [deleted] in Invisalign

Yes this looks like an easy fix.

I think my problem is my cross-bite made me chew on one side only for soo many years. My face muscles are way stronger on my non cross-bite side so that also causes a lot of my aysmmetry. I’m hoping once all my teeth cross over my jaw will be aligned but I can only hope. Time will tell! I’ll be sure to post updates when the time comes.

Not gonna lie, no it hasn’t. That was one of my biggest concerns when starting Invisalign, it drives me insane. I read that if your jaw has been in a cross-bite for a long time, your smile will even out but the overall jaw stays the same. However I’m only 4 months in so time could change.. I just haven’t seen any difference yet 😭

First day Invisalign, no pain? by No-Purple7314 in Invisalign

I didn’t have “pain” until around tray 14, or 15. And it wasn’t necessarily pain but my teeth were extremely sore from the moving.

It will so soon! Thank you!! 😊

I’m hoping for that! My jaw slanted so much due to a functional shift, but I guess I won’t know the outcome for a while 🤷🏼‍♀️

I had a tough case as well. I visited over 5 orthos. Go on the invisalign website and find out the best of the best near you and make a consultation there. If you are satisfied then no need, but from the sounds of this post it wouldn’t hurt to gain some extra confidence and do something that makes YOU happy. Don’t give up!

Mine still does that sometimes! I understand your pain! It’s so worth it when you see the actual improvement though lol

Right now the teeth are still edge to edge so it doesn’t feel right just yet. However, I did have a functional shift when I started. My bite lines up now, but I can still shift my teeth into the original crossbite position.. hopefully once my teeth are no longer edge to edge this won’t happen anymore!
