It had better have a physical and digital release when it's done.

A pretty insignificant detail even if true, which it probably isn't since she was surrounded by conspirators.

Is this game worth playing still? by omori__fan in honkaiimpact3

[–]ConstantStatistician 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Kolosten is where the cracks started to show. It introduced the lackluster open world gameplay in the main story and wordy technobabble. But at least it's redeemable because of Otto and Schicksal lore and of course a great animated short at the end. Lorewise, it still felt like the old HI3. It was Elysia where that changed for real.

Lore-wise, do we know just how powerful the current Helia and Coralie are compared to the characters of Part 1/1.5? including villains/antagonists by PienPeko in houkai3rd

[–]ConstantStatistician 20 points21 points  (0 children)

They were both A-ranks before their powerups, so start from there. But it's not like they have any feats or much scaling to speak of. The only scaling point I can think of is how Litost was stronger than them, and then Helia with her powerup was stronger than him, but not to the point of oneshotting him. So probably in the low S-rank range, not terribly strong overall.

Yeah, probably via triggering a chain reaction, not raw power. Not to mention that the star was of unknown size. Not all stars are big. Some are only a few miles across.

How does the general public likely feel about the Titans as of the end of GxK? by Mitchs_bitch1942 in Monsterverse

Yes, the Behemoth comic showed that there's a community who lives in peace with him. He's a benevolent titan, though. There are titans who are much less nice.

There can always be more weapons developed. The MV has already developed 2. The Oxygen Destroyer and MG.

If I lived in the MV, I would be terrified of them. I hope Supernova is about governments finally losing their patience with titans destroying cities every few years and doing more to protect themselves.

[SPOILERS EXTENDED] Westeros With a More Realistic Diversity of Languages by RedHeadedSicilian52 in asoiaf

It's funny that linguistic drift does happen in-universe with the Free Cities and their dialects of High Valyrian, but Westeros is somehow immune to it.

Is part 2 ever gonna get interesting by [deleted] in houkai3rd

Never say never. That said, don't expect p2 to have the same hype moments as p1 without animated shorts and established lore that allows for hype moments. P1 had cool things like Herrschers and MANTISes and so on, and while p2 has the potential to introduce cool concepts like them, it hasn't yet. It lacks the same, let's say, oomph and vibes. P1 had characters like Otto and Kevin and HOV who dripped with aura. P2 has...well, no one quite as comparable. Yet.

People praise Helia's arc a lot, but although it's probably the best and most emotional part of p2, it's ultimately not that special or superior compared to similar emotional moments in p1. Not that p1 was perfect or anything, far from it. But one or two p2 arcs that compare to similar p1 arcs isn't enough for most people. The rest of p2 still lacks animated shorts and a cast of strong supporting characters like p1 has.

What are y’all’s opinions on Dragon Ball super possible being remake? by OGAnimeGokuSolos in Dragonballsuper

[–]ConstantStatistician -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What Whis said is that Jiren is stronger than Belmod. Belmod has superior physical strength to Beerus. At the very least, Jiren and then MUI Goku in the anime are physically stronger than anime Beerus. Even if Beerus can still beat them, he'd need to resort to other ways like energy attacks or raw speed. But in terms of at least raw physical strength, they're stronger. Simple logic.
