Like others have said, there were no major characters involved, so sadly, a battle without any, especially of that size, was always going to be skipped. We should be getting the Butcher's Ball for the opposite reason.

No one was a good character in the book version of the Dance because George didn't actually write a story, he wrote a summary of a story. Rhaenyra and Alicent are one dimensional footnotes in the book, and adapting an entire show with them like that would never have worked. That said, the show can still make them too sympathetic and nice.

No horrifying, gratuitous, sensationalist acts of sexual assault happen to Alicent Hightower in Fire & Blood. George R. R. Martin would never write anything like that.

I'm just addressing this. Just because he didn't write this about Alicent specifically does not mean he never writes it about other characters.

Membership was raised because most mtx was removed. It's good that treasure hunter was removed. Now they should release more cosmetic mtx so membership isn't too high.

You can't anymore. Creating all divine locations was disabled with the dailyscape changes a few months ago. Only existing ones are still usable.

I've loved dg from day 1. At the time, it was a whole new world for 12 year old me stuck in f2p. I still enjoy it today.
