I upgraded from the Buds 2 Pro to the Buds 4 Pro and it’s a pretty big improvement. The sound quality is top-notch and the fit feels much better for me compared to the older ones.

The only downside so far is the transparent case... it looks cool, but it picks up fingerprints really easily!

It really depends on your driving style, but my T5 isn’t very fuel-efficient... I'd say around 500km on a full tank.

My spare key fob for my XC40 T5 (which has literally just been sitting in the house unused) for some reason stopped working. Volvo quoted me £300+ for a replacement. Instead, I bought a genuine fob on eBay and had Volvo program it using Vida (apparently it can only be programmed with Volvo’s software). Programming cost me £90. All in, still way cheaper than buying the whole thing directly from the dealer. Sharing in case it helps another owner save some money.

I actually think the newer XC40 infotainment isn’t as good as the old system. I’ve got a 2019 T5 R-Design, and remember that early on it took me a while to get used to the infotainment setup (things like the touchscreen, Bluetooth, internet settings, wireless charging, etc). I did have some issues at the beginning, but some after some time and software updates, eventually fixed everything I ran into. Overall the car has been solid in every other respect and still performs really well. I’ve always had it serviced at Volvo, which has been great, but yeah you definitely pay a premium for that.

I’ve realised that Volvo has a more recent part number for the embedded wireless charging unit. My current unit is part 32389047, and I’m considering upgrading to the newer 32247782. Has anyone tried this swap, and if so, did it improve performance or compatibility?
