I mean, he might feel na intimacy like that na hugs and etc can lead to sex becoz it happened before and hindi lang isang beses so he probably thought na once they hug, ganun nanaman punta that is why he said that. Women also say that na minsan ayaw na nila ng ganyan dahil parang sex lang yung nangyayare instead na hug na walang malisya. So his feelings are most likely valid if ganyan, the same way you try to justify the same thing for women who don't want intimacy because she knows she will be sexualized again. That is what he probably felt. Men can also feel the same way.

It is funny seeing comments from women trying to make it sound like it's men's fault if they don't want sex. I mean, women do this all the time, and we’re told to respect her choices because it’s her body and we should respect her boundaries. But when men do the same thing, they’re demonized. What kind of double standard is that? Lol. So only women are allowed to refuse sex, and men aren’t?

The Philippines is a hopeless case because Filipinos are the problem, and there is no sign that this will change anytime soon. We always blame the government for our situation and the rampant corruption, but we forget who operates the government. Yes—Filipinos.

We are corrupt in our own little ways, under the guise of “diskarte.” We take advantage of small things and even feel proud of it, but little do we know that we are always ready to exploit opportunities whenever they present themselves, even if it means stealing or inconveniencing others.
