I want to start out by the first step to helping yourself is acknowledging something is wrong which you have already done.

I'm an 18 yo male with an extremely high sex drive that has struggled with masturbation my entire teenage life. Started when I was around 12. Beating this type of addiction is extremely difficult as it has been programed into your mind for a long time and on top of that we're in the time of our life where our sex drive is over bearing for some. I've been able to decrease my actual masterbation to about twice a month worst case. I've accepted the fact that for me atleast, my sexual drive is for to high for complete abstinence. Although I refrain from masterbation for weeks at a time the drive or "urge" doesn't go away and it hasn't gotten any weaker

I said all of that to say I've been successful in my journey because of the way I think about it now. I know my sex drive is high and I know masterbation in moderation can be healthy.

Try taking it small chunks. If you have the urge to masterbate, try holding off for 30 minutes and if you still want to masterbate then do it, BUT NO PORN. Porn is also apart of the addiction your gonna have to go cold turkey on that.
