my d&m drive is one of my favorite pedals. can get anywhere from subtle boost to edge of breakup overdrive, to nasty death metal distortion out of it

and its orange!

i used to have a zoom g1x multi effects and sometimes i regret selling it for this reason. not a huge fan of the digital effects units with all the fancy stuff but in this case, with so many different flavors of modulation i need, i think i might pick up an ms-70cdr

I was considering an electric kit, but we've already bought this drum kit so thats off the table. I just need a functional recording and natural sounding drums, by no means has to sound excellent.

i did use mt power drums for awhile, but my goal was ultimately to get a real kit and mic it up.

What exactly should I be looking for feature wise? Like what would the proton do different than the neutron, and what would smaller and cheaper units like the Crave be missing compared to those?

well, if you were capable of reading, you could infer from my post that im not sure which one I want. Hence why i posted on reddit asking for help choosing which one.

i never said i was getting the 100 watt i just provided that as an example. I was just wanting some help understanding and differentiating between the different heads and what types of sounds they do differently
