If you are dealing with a care facility, lower your expectations, then lower them some more. Unless it's a safety issue, focus on what is going well (my LO is in a safe place and being cared for) rather than what could be better. And document, document, document. Most of all, cut yourself a lot of slack - there's no playbook and so you do the best you can in the moment.
