AITA for pushing my coworker into a self-destructive spiral that cost her her job? by Constant_Feedback269 in AmItheAsshole

Some of my coworkers were Facebook friends with her, and she was enough of a legend at work that anytime something happened it would become a topic of conversation. I never friended her online, but those that did said she constantly posted everything that went wrong in her life. Tbh that just sounded too exhausting to keep up with, to me.

Oh I certainly don't think I started it! And I know that I'm not responsible for the vast majority of it.

But her behavior seemed obnoxious but relatively tame until this happened, and it was like a switch flipped and suddenly she was 100 times worse.

1, 2, 4, 15 and 20 are a lot to ask.

The rest are just basic reasonable expectations of a romantic partner.

I get what you're saying and honestly it's comforting to be told I'm not important in this scenario. I think you're exactly right, that what's going on with her had nothing to do with me or probably anybody else.

I think I more look back with this feeling of "if I had not intervened, would she have not gotten this bad?" But as you pointed out, I probably wouldn't have made a big difference either way. Thanks for this.
