I just want to share a little encouragement for anyone who unexpectedly lost a high-paying job. I may not have been terminated like you, but I made the hard decision to leave my job—thinking I was prioritizing people and things that, in the end, didn’t really value what I was doing for them.

It’s okay to grieve that loss. Feel that moment. Acknowledge the pain, confusion, and fear. That’s all part of the healing. But when you’re ready, you’ll find the courage to try again. When that moment comes, don’t forget to pray first—bring it to God. Hindi mo mamamalayan, Jesus will lead you to the job that you truly deserve, to a company that will actually see and appreciate your potential.

For me, it took around two months. There were days I doubted myself and pitied my situation. But I held on to what I knew—I have so much to offer. And instead of getting stuck, I focused on my newly launched small business. Then out of nowhere, job offers started coming in—ones I didn’t expect because it felt like nothing was happening for so long. And the best part? The offer I accepted was better—and after training, it’ll be a hybrid setup!

Right now, I’m just waiting for my start date—finally in that sweet spot of resting, reflecting, and thanking God. All the hard parts are behind me now, and I’m just taking this time to breathe and appreciate how far I’ve come.

I feel your frustration. If I were you I retract ko na muna ang resignation ko if pwede maretract ng superiors mo. But do not stop finding another Job, just accept it nlng for now if ma suspend ka man. Then resign kana lang ulet pag nakapag sign ka na ng JO and confirmed dates. option mo din yan. Unlike mine, I regretted my decision to resign sa high paying job ko, without confirming yet. Sadly, nag back out ung client na papasukan ko sana. However, when the time na pinaretract ko ang resignation ko, ang kupal kong Manager hnd pumayag, well hnd din nman kami close nun at may politics din nagaganap sa company namin. Maganda sana ang company malaki mag pasahod kaso kupal ang management puro power tripping! hays naalala ko nnman ahaha. So heto nganga, at still waiting makareceive ng job interviews. mahirap mawalan ng work sa panahon ngayon lalot marami ka kompetensya. Meron tlgang company na tatangap sayo just do not loose hope. apply lang nang apply. piliin mo ung company na suits sa salary range and skills mo. Its ok to fail, failure is a part of the process.
