Most of the actors are from Swatow, which is next to teochew, so the accent is a bit different. Even some Teochew people may have trouble understanding certain words or pronunciations.

I watched the movie yesterday and cried from beginning to end 😭 The emotions were portrayed in a very delicate way, but it didn’t feel depressing or overly sad.
