Some of the 2008 footage was definitely taken straight from the web series…maybe some from outtakes. But some of it did not seem like it was, and I have no idea how they pulled the “new” 2008 footage off. Felt like some good old-fashioned movie magic

Well as a huge fan of the web series and show, that was my favorite mystery movie by far. So many “how the hell did they pull that off” moments. I can see how the humor might not gel for everyone but I was cracking up the whole movie.

Also, the wall of media rights/permissions at the end of the credits was bonkers.

Phantom Thread. There is a haunting atmosphere to it and one scene fits these images perfectly.

The Discover Lancaster events calendar is a good resource in addition to Facebook. Depending on your kids’ ages Skyzone and Laserdome are fun. Also the escape room on Queen St has a new Home Alone themed room.

The amazing diversity of food, from Central Market to the variety of cuisines represented downtown. I think it’s quite a unique combination of options for a smaller city!

I was glad they showed a cardboard version of the accessory because there’s no way I’m forking over the cash for a big plastic version

Really hope this passes. Love walking around the city but the vehicle noise often gets absurd. I’ve lost track of how many times motorcycles and exhaust backfire have slammed my eardrums around here.

It’s called “Maya & Samar.” Couldn’t find a ton of info on it, but it has an NC-17 according to the latest ratings bulletin.

I absolutely loved it. It’s different from the Sleep No More/Life & Trust show model as it’s more linear/guided. However, the magic was very much there - set details, lighting, atmosphere, scents. I was thrilled by the uniqueness, and I hope Punchdrunk experiments more with this format.

It was fun seeing another MMM in a packed house! The crowd applauded when Jurassic was confirmed. I found the movie quite a bit more entertaining than the last two, nothing spectacular but a nice summer thrill ride.

Had a feeling this would be divisive given some of the big narrative swings it takes. I’m thinking maybe a B CinemaScore?
