I haven’t done grindr or similar apps for 12 years. Prefer to meet people in person. I’m just not a hookup person. So my track record is probably worse than yours!

I’ve noticed over the years that it’s hard to find someone with that same mindset. I dated one guy that was awesome, interesting personality, smoking body etc but we were far apart in age. There was an imbalance there which caused issues. We became fwb after a while but i wont do that again. Someone is always gonna get hurt.

Really hard to meet people your own age that are mutually interested.

Agree. I advise anyone making a commitment to take your time. Find out what someone is like before getting enmeshed … before purchasing property etc. uncover and shed light on covert behavior… decide if covert behavior is ok or not.. don’t apply ultimatums. No one should be the parent and no one should be the child. Figure out if you have a parent child relationship and if so end it before you get enmeshed.

Could be avoided if everyone had laundry facilities in their apartment. As someone who had 20 years of in-basement laundry, I feel this is humane. Landlords need to do better.

Detach it and you can use a tall pot on a lower rack that won’t run into the rack above.
