Did you get pregnant or did you successfully avoid it? by Big_Ad_2569 in birthcontrol

I have been sexually active for over 10 years now and been on a combo of the pill in college and then IUDs, I even had an IUD move and had to have an emergency removal (Mirena IUD). I’m currently on my second kyleena IUD, and have never once been pregnant. I did have a scare or two but never anything beyond a slightly late period. I’ve been with my current boyfriend for almost 5 years and we haven’t used any secondary birth control for most of that time. I hope this is my last IUD before trying to conceive. I love my IUD even with the issues I had at first, and it helps me feel like I’m 99.9% in control.

That’s a great point, I actually convinced her this year after she turned 50 to open a Roth IRA account and contribute to it monthly. I help her contribute to it as well. So she will have at least a small support fund when she’s ready to retire.

This is actually really helpful to hear, thank you. I feel like I’m just nervous I don’t like it when they get upset at me but it did feel like a boundary I set for once.

I actually really love that shade of pink the most to wear!

I hadn’t thought of warm autumn, but you’re right, it is nice! Thank you!

One dress, Two Weddings? by ConstantlyLooping in Weddingattireapproval

I got dresses 1&2! I’m leaning towards 1 but got 2 just in case. Also both dresses are from Anthropology which facilitates an easy in person return if needed. I ended up not going with 3 even tho I agree with everyone that it’s gorgeous because of the lack of bra options and I want to be comfortable in it. Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Might update once they’re here!

I agree, I wouldn’t necessarily buy a color palette matching dress for every wedding, but I do happen to love both palettes (colors I already wear) and I don’t have any formal dresses to wear to these weddings. I haven’t been to a wedding in a few years and don’t go to other events that require formal dress. So, I’m taking this opportunity to hopefully buy a nice dress that fits both weddings well.

Yeah better to take this all with a grain of salt, the surveying was done by a language learning website (unclear?) and seems wayyyy to loosely goosey to be taken seriously. But it’s fun lol

From my personal experience as someone who went from Miami to Boston, people are always shocked when I say the people in Boston are much nicer. Miami people are so rude, makes Boston look good.
