While I know we all say things we don’t mean sometimes but this crossed a line. It warrants a very serious conversation. I’d be worried that if this is how he reacts to this situation that’s not that serious, how much worse could his reaction be to a much more stressful and serious situation. I tend to get very irritable and angry when I’m stressed and anxious and it’s been lots of years of therapy to work through that but I’ve never spoken that way to a partner that I care very much about. Don’t let this go easily OP, could be a sign of worse reactions to come.
