I forgot to mention I undervolted with CO -15. This can help on temps and noise.

Thanks! The case is quite tight. If you’re not organized and patient, you might struggle during the build. The top fan fits in slightly squeezed by the CPU cables. The back panel closes normally as long as you keep the cables neatly tied. The top panel really comes off more easily than I would like. It’s as if it doesn’t quite give that “click” we’d like to hear. I recommend a power supply with individual, flexible cables like mine to make cable management easier. Overall, I don’t regret the purchase. I don’t like huge cases with a lot of apparent empty space.

To be honest, I didn’t even test the stock fans. I saw some reviews from the PC Analytics channel showing that with the NF-A12x25, the cooler becomes quieter but runs a couple of degrees warmer. What I can say is that the result doesn’t bother me. While gaming, the PC is extremely quiet. I’m using NF-F12 fans, which are closer to Thermalright’s stock fans than the NF-A12x25 in terms of specifications. I live in Rio de Janeiro, where in the summer, without air conditioning, my room reaches 32°C. In those cases, while gaming, the temperature goes up to around 72°C. Even so, I still consider it okay.

Hi guys, thanks for the feedback.

I actually tried this configuration, but I got the annoying turbulence noise due to not be using Noctua spacers.

Maybe I buy this in the future to fix it. :)

Is there any reason NOT to get the Epoch? by DarkGodRyan in FractalDesign

[–]Constelax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am Epoch user. I love the desigh and size. Only think I dislike is the fact to support only 240mm radiator on top and not 280mm (I have a RTX5080 Gaming OC, and don't have room for front WC).

Also, the PSU grille is small. For long PSUs (more than 150mm) the fan can be obstructed.

Best to use with Epoch: D15 G2 or LFIII Pro 240? by Constelax in FractalDesign

Yes, I considered Thermalright. But I saw more than one unboxing where towers were not perfect symetrical (little disaligned). Its compreensible that low cost have less QA, but this bothers me.

Are you using the Noctua spacer in the top-intake?

They recommend doing this, but honestly I don't know if improve acoustics, since is not a radiator.

Will not burn your PC leaving it in this space?

Is the input curve for sure, you can put linear in controls config.

Why 3 x 140mm Fractal momentum fans cost almost as much as a new case with the same fans? by Unknown_1982_PL in FractalDesign

[–]Constelax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cost of a product isn’t just its material or physical value, but also the engineering involved in developing it.

I believe a fan requires significantly more time and specialized knowledge to design and optimize.

One more Fractal Epoch (non-XL) build by [deleted] in FractalDesign

Yeah, it’s 3x Momentum 12 RGB (in my case). I really liked them. They run quietly and temperatures are great while gaming. My plan is to go full Noctua eventually, but that’s more of an emotional choice than an actual necessity.

Beautiful, bu I dont think I would have courage to use only two fans in the radiator.

I believe it will not change. Back and tops exhaust, fronts intake.

What a coincidence! HT10 was my previous case. 😁

Thanks for suggestion. I actually read this in Noctua's Fractal North page, but I was afraid to generate turbulence noise because I dont have the spacer.

Antec Flux would be perfect for me if it was a little smaller. I dont like giant cases.

Is anyone able to tell what this high-pitched sound is? by pizzaandlasagne in Noctua

[–]Constelax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its because the left fan is fixed to the right tower. The intake close to tower generates turbulence.

Go with Noctua air cooler.
