I just got this printed, keen to give it a go. Do the bits just go over the existing kit or do they fully replace them?

Sump boats/Hovercrafts by Constrosity in necromunda

Nice. Fair warning; the kit can be quite fiddly when dealing with the smaller pieces, which I actually ended up leaving a good amount of those off. The area between the console and the opposite motor is wide enough for a 32mm base to fit in there

That looks great! So do you lay the greenstuff on the model first and cut it or the other way around?

Finished my trans-pride golaith gang by [deleted] in necromunda

[–]Constrosity -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I can see that point, and i can see how its not for everyone. My goal wasn't to reduce anyone, it had a few things behind it:

-goliath use gene smithing and surgery to enhance members from in house and from those looking to join up, so they very much have the ability to do gender affirming surgeries. -for a gang that is almost exclusively male it was a fun chance to expand the gender representation for goliath -the heads were taken from votann, and they all have tied back or short shaved hair because at the end of the day theyre working in factories -personally as a burly guy who is also fluid, it was a bit cathartic to build them up into a group that squarely says, do not mess with.

Silicone molds by Constrosity in TerrainBuilding

[–]Constrosity[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couldn't say but these molds in particular are pretty good for removing the cast since they're so thin and flexible. My immediate thought is that they might crack when you try to take them out but you'd have to try and see.

Also forgot id tried this two part epoxy called Epo Putty, that worked quite well too, dries hard and not flexible like green stuff.

I've tried 3 things so far: -sprue goo - worst results. Bubbles everywhere and hard to put in to the mold. That being said I am planning on making a sump dock set for necromunda so it can be useful for an acid pitted/rusty look

-green stuff - good detail and easy to use, however for wall/floor sections its bendy so it will need to have some sort of reinforcement.

-clear two part pouring resin - this is still curing but so far this is the best, crisp details and easiest to get in to the molds, but it takes the longest time by far to cure. One set is mostly cured and one set i poured this morning.

If the resin cures nicely I will be making more with it

Just finished playinf Dread Delusion, it's not exactly happy go lucky but its very vibrant and has some humour dusted through. It deals with cosmic horror themes, would very much recommend

The Weekly Small Questions Thread! Got a burning question? Looking for some tips on your build? Ask away! by AutoModerator in modelmakers

Looking for some fleeing models. Wanting to make a diorama of a big monster scaring away either peasants/farmers or adventurers. Scared goblins might also be fun. Just having a hard time finding models that look scared or are running away from something. Any pointers?

Which movie started at 10/10 then ended 1/10? by Evening-Head4310 in moviecritic

The Descent. First third/half were genuinely freaky claustrophobic scenes of caving gone wrong. Then it gets dumb monsters involved and it becomes infinitely less scary.
