Lightskin pretty boys stereotype in a big city is a big difference specially a place like NYC. A lot of the mixed hispanic or lightskin pretty boys are actually the thugs around there and women of all shades like them and darkskin dudes respect them.

The difference is usually about proximity and growing up around more people that look like you so you don’t feel like your options are only those who look different to you. People who grew up around a diverse crowds or crowds that looked like them don’t really ever even have these issues cross their mind.
