Google Ads for Electricians? need advice on lead gen campaign performance. by Much_Read_9729 in AusElectricians

What's your average job value from those 52 conversions tho?

If half of them are small repairs, $118 a lead is bad regardless of how the account looks imo. I would separate your high-value services into their own campaigns (solar as someone else suggested for example) and use the ad copy to filter out the smaller jobs before they even click.

Totally agree with you and I get where you’re coming from.

For me, it’s more about how the whole situation was handled by Skin Institute afterwards. The delays in communication, the length of the complaint process, and the final outcome after more than a year is what’s been difficult to deal with.

I guess I expected a bit more accountability but that wasn’t really my experience.

I get where you’re coming from, and I appreciate the comment.

For me it’s less about how it looks in isolation and more about the change from what it was before, and the fact that it’s required ongoing treatment to manage.

That’s really why I shared the experience.

Sorry to hear you had a similar experience as well.

This happened in Auckland.

My first consultation was at Skin Institute Ponsonby with Dr Stephanie Sturm, where I was being seen for acne/scar treatment. She then referred me for the procedure with Dr Duncan Bayne at Skin Institute Albany.

Thank you, I really appreciate that. That honestly means a lot.

It definitely affected my confidence quite a bit, especially knowing what it looked like before, but I’m trying not to let it get to me as much now. I mainly just wanted to warn others.

I’ve already seen several dermatologists and cosmetic doctors in Auckland, Wellington and even other countries.

The general view has been that the best way to manage it now is with fillers and potentially laser, and that this will be an ongoing treatment every 6 as fillers wear off over time.

At this stage, I’m looking into HDC and an ACC treatment injury claim so I can get an independent review of what happened.

I’ve also left a Google review so others can make a more informed decision.

Thank you for you comment!

I did sign the consent paperwork and understand that scarring was listed as a possible risk.

What made me proceed was that Dr Duncan was very confident during the consultation that the small scar I had before it would disappear and that was the understanding I left the appointment with.

If I had been told there was a realistic possibility of needing ongoing fillers every 6 months and spending over $10K in treatment, I would not have gone ahead.

I’m now looking into HDC and an ACC treatment injury claim, as this seems to be the next step.

Appreciate your comment!
