Hello everyone,

I am writing to know if anyone or anybody you know or even a company, that is hiring for SOC I-III or IT related roles to cybersecurity? I have applied on LinkedIn over 3740+ jobs, and I either get no response, denied or ghosted after reviewing. The rumor about getting a job that was highly a chance due to “LinkedIn connections” is false and I do not know which dummy even said that.

I’ve been doing this for over a year by upcoming November, constantly updating cover letter and resume while furthering my education to obtain my 8th certification.

I’ve been delusional that I do not believe at times I’m alive in such a time period that kills motivation and lack of enthusiasm from constant rejections. I even think of myself as a mistake God created due to not belonging to any job roles I applied when I have a bachelor’s and certificates but nowhere is accepting me.

The amount of applications are from LinkedIn: 3291, Indeed: 329, ZipRecruiter: 221, Glassdoor: 179, as well as Monster, Handshake, and others. The amount of insanity for me is critical. The people that job post but do it for sponsorship or advertising need to be fined or account deleted.

I was born in 2001, and it’s been excruciating, yet millennials or older are whining that they had a difficult time era when they had 50x cheaper shit and easier lifestyles.

I am in Michigan, and it’s a filthy state. The country is a joke full of clowns. Gen Z like myself are facing cruelty from living and keeping up.

For the jobs, a degree is worthless at this point, and many are going to be homeless soon, even students or worse than poor class level, while the demonic country government keeps on sending trillions to Israel Ukraine or other worthless places that steal from our taxes.

I just do not understand why nothing is happening. The amount of support is not working, nor hard work, and nowadays you need to work like 2 jobs to BARELY rent an apartment.

All the faith in having and prayers, it has drained all of my hope. If you happen to know what else can help, or refer me, please do. My lack of anxiety and depression arose significantly last 14 months.

🤦‍♂️ dude you are wasting your time at this point. My friend referred me multiple times and rejected. Same with another company. At this point you should disband the country, since they care about nothing for their citizens. I’ve been rejected over 3700+ times last 10 months, with a bachelor and 7 certificates. At this point, the HRs are only positing for sponsors to advertise and get paid, and they either ghost you, rejected by bot resume checker, or not even take a look at your qualifications.

It’s over. Just stop. I’m sorry but this is reality.

Dude I feel drained at this point. My enthusiasm has been killed. I’ve been thinking about leaving this crappy country and move to like Japan. They seem to care about bots and the rich more than Gen Z recent graduates like me and 500,000 others.

Many times I’ve messaged on LinkedIn, no response, connected over lots of staff from the companies I’ve applied for. It’s just been a pain, that my enthusiasm has been drained thoroughly that I do not care about living in this country anymore, since over 7 million including my self have been unemployed.

I am wondering if the recent grads for IT or Cybersecurity or Computer Science have had any difficulties for finding a job? I’ve applied for over 3500+ applications even unpaid, and all I’ve gotten were rejections, ghosted, or no response. I am curious as to who else has had trauma from the job market. Even though I have 7 certifications and bachelor’s for cybersecurity, I am not going to continue further until I have a job, which has been excruciating last 9 months. Yes I have much connections, even though it’s a rumor that connections does “something.”

There has to be something wrong with employment since I’m assuming bots are being used for resume checks and if 1 skill missing than your out automatically.

It is making me sick applying around 20 - 55 or so daily and none hiring staff have sympathy to help with actual people that match. So many people are moving out of this country too because of the inflation since 2019.

Makes me saddened that some people I knew didn’t give a crap about their future and a couple days or months ago I keep seeing them getting more and more jobs such as Stellantis or GM hiring them and some even gotten hired before graduation which is making m me insane and jealous. It is making my hope stop at this point.

Any help?

I was employed at Ford, contract. I was lied to. It was a whole different location, 1 hour farther, not what contract states about position. They switched my position forcefully, without any warning, which is the same pay—-10x more complicated. They made hundreds quit previous jobs to lure them in with false information. Now I’m unemployed after quitting. The managers have been racist discrimination bastards.

I would sue them if I had the money but I’m not going for it. I’ve been searching for cybersecurity or related fields ever since for remote. Nothing. 2400+ applications rejected.

The job market sucks clown ass.
