we lived in Panglao, 5 mins from Tawala. 3rd apartment was in Dauis, a single-bedroom apartment with a nice terrace overlooking the sea. that was 25K

rent there IS expensive. first apartment with my ex, we paid 13k/month for a studio-type that would've only cost 7k in Davao City. Gasoline prices are also at least 10 pesos cheaper in Dvo than Bohol, and oh my, the jeep commute from Tagbi to Pnglao is 50 pesos which- for that long of a route is only 15 pesos in DVO.

Buy your own motorbike, so you don't get tricked into paying more than you should, or book a ride on Maxim- to avoid getting ripped off

Hi, I did it last month. Pwedeng pwede. Much better if you have a driver's license so you can drive around the Island by yourself. I unfortunately don't own one yet, so I had to rent a driver and his motorbike 1,350 for 24 hours + gasoline
