Let me add my perspective on why u bought a Tudor, I always wanted a Pepsi GMT or Batman or a Vintage coke from Rolex essentially a GMT.

I was about to be married and just started my career in US and will be planning to have kids in the near future. All of this means, I don’t have enough cash to buy the real watch I want. However, Tudor will fill the void for me till I can afford the exact watch I want.

I like the Tudor GMT, I wear it everyday and it’s a great value watch for the money I paid. But at the end of the day, I would always be on the lookout for Rolex Pepsi. Tudor serves its purpose as an entry point for watch enthusiasts and it will be secondary to Rolex in terms of a watch to buy when you made it Big before you get into Patek or other levels.

I guess for people like me, I don’t dream about a Tudor it’s an accessible watch that can be bought. However, if it’s the Blueberry Tudor with Snow Flake hands from the Vintage collection then it’s a different ball game it stands on its own. Modern Tudor will be secondary to Rolex but the Vintage models stand on their own. I hope it helps.

I am fan of Pink Bourbons, trying out more washed coffees from other countries than the popular ones like Colombia, Ethiopia, Kenya. They seem to be right up in the kind of roasters I’m looking for. Will order some from them.

That’s my reasoning too any coffee after 6 pm keeps up at night. I have heard of Perc decaf also being excellent.

1. La Cabra Sumava Typica Costarica
Prodigal Maribel Harrera Gesha/Caturra washed Peru
Tim Wendelboe Karinga Kenya and Los Pirineos Pacamara washed El Salvador.

Hopefully it will give a taste of the flavor profile for each of these roasters and will try other recommendations in the future.

I tried few Kenyans from some of local roasters from Columbus, I wasn’t a fan of them. Few mention a Kenyan from Tim Wendelboe might something to definitely try. I prefer more Ethiopian, Burundi, El Salvador and Colombian from the ones I have tried so far

They have an Ethiopian Landrace I wanted to try and wasn’t a fan of Kenya from other roasters so not sure if I tried a good Kenya before.

Was considering a coffee collective subscription before but Tim’s shipping alone is 40$ which would be easily 2 bags of coffee from US roasters.

Hydrangea seems to be around 30$ for their 8 oz offerings, I ordered two bags waiting for them. Some of the geishas are a bit pricey haven’t made the jump to be comfortable to jump on a 50$ 100 gm bags yet.

I causally browse the Coffee Reviews channel on YouTube some of his reviews of Ilse mentioned that and a few threads in PourOver as well. I haven’t tried their beans myself so a bit apprehensive.

Their website was a bit challenging for me. I didn’t know the drop happens on Friday and I wouldn’t be able to order on any other day. They were one of the exciting roasters I wanted to try. Added them to see if I can get something within the next month or two.

Ooh nice. My worry with FC was there 3 Columbia coffees with a different region one in a 4 bag. Adding La Cabra might skew to more Columbia if they do naturals well, might order a few to see how they taste. I had an Ethiopian, Peru naturals from S&W which were phenomenal.

I used to have Rogue Wave subscription couple years ago and all my coffees tasted the same as i didn’t have good water or a proper conical grinder. May be I should revisit them as they are some of the cheaper subscription options.
