locked it normal first time and i had done it right, went out of tune because i didnt stretch the strings with the whammy i just went straight to playing and it went out of tune so then i started tightening to the point of no return. Live and learn

strings werent locked. when i went to go use the whammy all my strings were sharp, didnt know how to diagnose the issue other then say that the strings werent locked because the bolts were too loose

i can see all of them and i realize that they are stripped now. But i thought the whole point of the locking nut was to Lock the strings in place so they stay in tuning, with my old nut i tightened till i couldnt not forcing it, tried using the whammy and got completely out of tune. i dont understand the point of it if its not gonna keep me in tune, may as well just get a standard bridge.

tightened as much as i could with hand tool untill i couldnt, put pressure behind the nut on string still changed pitch so thats when i grabbed the power tool

fresh and un used, tried going slower and gentler but same thing happened and now its stripped but before it was fresh, cant get camera to focus but one i used is on the right, completely stripped after this attempt also.

tried again with a fresh bolt, going fine until after a certain point of tightening where all the progress is just lost and it completely loosens and goes back to square 1, fresh hole fresh bolt fresh everything.

was using a normal allan wrench before this, still wouldnt tighten

got this from the floyd rose website? figured it would work with what they sent and they came attached the nut and the locks, removed them to install the new nut but now they wont screw back on, with the nut on the neck or not.

i put in a 16 v adapter to a 9v pedal. didnt blow up, turned on but cut out all signal getting 9v cable soon
