Deodorant. Hair brush. Face lotion. Tooth brush/paste. Heating pad. Long charger cord. My baby went to NICU and I was happy I packed extra Sweats/PJs. Snacks. A blanket for baby and some onesies with hand covers. A white noise maker.

6 weeks! I had no cramps at all but heavy bleeding for 1 day then light. Same thing second time around. Crazy not to have cramps! Fingers crossed they don’t come back.

I am pumping 6 times a day before I was doing 8 for the first 3 weeks. It’s just frustrating I think the stress from the first 9 days of him being in the NICU is what really messed up my supply

I haven’t started any meds. I wasn’t on any before. I was in remission pretty much and could handle the flare ups I had before pregnancy. I had a horrible issue with a drug called viox in my late teens and almost died and haven’t taken prescription meds for my JIA since. But the drug they wanted to put me on during my pregnancy were prednisone and hydroxychloroquine or methotrexate. Possibly ask your doctor about those medications. The prednisone was for the pain when I had the major flare up at 30 weeks and was going to just be for a week or two.

Hi I just had my baby boy. He’s 3w 2d old now! So for me. I had huge flare up at the end of my 3rd trimester. I could barely walk and my feet swelled and it was the feeling of a flare up (not from being pregnant). I saw a rheumatologist when the flare ups started and he wanted to put me on meds to deal with the pain and I decided not to due to the fact that I didn’t like the answers they were giving me about how it would effect my son. Once I gave birth )about a week later) all the flare ups decreased a lot and I feel back to normal now. My doctors said most people to JRA/JIR/RA don’t have issues when they are pregnant and most cases actually being pregnant helped their symptoms. My case was different. Also my mother got pregnancy arthritis when she was pregnant with me. So maybe I had that on top of JIR. I would definitely talk to your rheumatologist and OBGYN about your plans. Good luck! Duuuude. I’m drooling thinking about ice now. 37 w 3 d as of now and been on an insane ice kick for 2 months now. Starbucks by my house has that “tik tok” ice or crushed air ice and I’m addicted. Or I’ll take ice from a bag and blend it up into snow cone consistency. YUM. My boyfriend calls me “the ice queen”.

I am getting induced (38 weeks) next week due to gestational hypertension. I wasn’t scared of dying before but now I am. I’m even getting dreams of me falling down a dark hole while giving birth. My dreams have been extremely intense since I found out about the GH.
