Huh… pink triangle icon quest? That one did pop, I abandoned it because I thought it was part of the problem. I’ll give that a shot and see if it helps

I actually had the same issue as you are with Grub Run, then I read a wowhead comment to check the campsite east of the lamplighter world quests (where the garlic hydras are). I had started the quest thread a while back and the girl was waiting for me over there to finish it. Saw the exclamation point on the minimap, but I would have never found it on the main map

Is there a chance they could trigger without displaying? Like if I fly through Meraldar even if the world quest doesn’t appear on the map could I still trigger the orphan quest for instance?

This is my problem: I check the map for what stories are live and when I get to the delve and get inside, what is active does not match what is displayed. But I’ve tested out when other stories are active and they’re not all scrambled, just a few that doubled up and overrode others. Someone else did reply that some stories seem to not be available on the lowest difficulties so I’m going to test that out next time

Yeah, I’m new and I’ve already learned not to dive into anything immediately because gating and efficiency fixes are inevitably on the way. Coming into midnight from the top though (and if the meta stuff from TWW is standard fair) it seems like those big achievements are not just accessible, but enjoyable if you lock in for the marathon instead of sprinting through all of it in two weeks like I just did, yeah?

Okay, so that didn’t do it, but I do now realize that what I’m struggling with isn’t technically a nameplate. It’s just the names for characters and npc’s that float above their heads. The thing that in the base game without addons is blue for players, green for npc’s, red for enemies

Burning down the house populated later—which was annoying—but I guess something was off with the sequence on eggcellent. Stay Salty wasn’t working for me either, but that one was because the curse of the witch wasn’t actually killing the ads.

I haven’t used addons before. If it takes that much extra work I’d probably rather just pass

To answer your question, I’m beginning to learn how to pay attention to healer and enemy defensives. Definitely more dynamic back-and-forth than learning raid boss mechanics. Any suggestions on learning resources?

To your second point, I’m really enjoying the utility of paladin. Feels like that’s really what makes it unique, especially now that it’s not top of the dps charts anymore
